Hello everyone,

This is the project that I have written up [If you would like a copy, please email Duane Carmody at dc_kc73@hotmail]. I believe that it’s necessary and will help the children here. It looks like a lot of money, but when God moves on peoples’ hearts I know that God can make it happen. Please send this project on to whoever you feel may be interested. They are currently building a bridge here in Chiang Khong between Thailand and Laos. Because of this bridge, land here is very expensive now. We would really like to have our own land because we just throw money away every month in rental fees. But if we have our own land, then even though there isn’t any money coming in from overseas, we could still live on the land that is ours. Also, there are currently almost 30 people living here with us, and we only have one vehicle. That one truck isn’t big enough for everyone. If God suddenly calls me home, I would like to leave these things to those who come after me. We are all the body of Christ and I believe that if we all work together and help a little here and there, we can do this. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but I do know that today I want to do my best for God. I would like to share this vision with many people and those who have a heart to share in this vision with us can do according to God’s will. Thank you very much and we appreciate your prayers!!

It is harvest season here in Thailand. I (Somboon) took the students who live with us to help some people harvest rice. We want to build relationships with the people who live around us and it opens opportunities for us to share about God with them. The students are very excited. Some of them told me that the field is like their school because it teaches them lessons of life. That made me praise God.

Last month my youngest brother brought a team here from Rajaphat University. They taught our students about evangelism. As part of their outreach, they showed a movie about Jesus to people who live here and then took our students in small groups to do door to door evangelism. It has given our students more courage in sharing the gospel. Also, two people prayed to accept the Lord. Many of the students here gave testimonies about the outreaches and they were very excited about it. Many of our students are very, very shy, but when they went out to share, they said they couldn't figure out where the courage and bravery to share came from! They said they couldn't figure out where they got the courage to share Christ with adults! These things are making the students more mature and helping them grow up in their faith as well as giving them more courage.

Please pray for the staff here to have wisdom to know how to teach and build up the students here to be true disciples of Jesus Christ.

October Update

I praise God for the part that all of you have had in the work of God here. We are teaching the students here, both boys and girls, about evangelizing and sharing their faith. Every Saturday evening, we teach the students to play various musical instruments and we have worship practice. One of the students here leads worship on Sunday mornings. We are seeing the students grow spiritually a lot more than in the past. Every Sunday afternoon, Susan takes the students to a Hmong village to do a children's club in the village and share about Jesus with the children. The students here play games with the children, sing songs, teach new songs, and share from the Word with the children in the village. We are seeing that the students here have more of a heart to serve God than they did before. We are seeing many changes in the students here, including not being so selfish and they also have more of a heart to share Christ with the children and with their friends at school. There are many students who really want to know Jesus. It's really exciting to see the lives of the students change for the good.

There are some students who have shared with the staff that after they finish high school, they want to study Bible so they can serve God. Two boys will graduate high school this year and they want to go on to college, Wee and Tong. Wee has decided to study Bible for sure. Tong is still in the process of deciding what he's going to do, but he says he wants to study Bible also. Please pray for both of them. Both of their fathers are witch doctors, and it won't be easy for either of them. I believe that God has a plan for both of them. Please pray for their tuition for Bible College as well.

New Update on Khai's Mother & Prayer Request

Hello.....

Praise God and thank you to everyone who prayed for Khai's mother in Laos. In the end, she had x-rays done at 2 different hospitals. Doctors at both hospitals said that nothing is wrong with her. We don't know what happened, but we believe that is a miracle of God. At first the doctor said that it was cancer, but now they say nothing is wrong and they don't see anything. Praise God! Her symptoms are now much better. But they ask for continued prayer because there are evil spirits in their village that bother them frequently. Some of the villagers don't like Christians and many of the villagers perform spirit ceremonies asking the spirits to harm their family. We believe that our God is a great God and that He will protect them and keep them safe in His hand. Please continue to pray for them.

Update on Khai's mother

NOTE: The email below is from Pastor Somboon concerning the cancer surgery needed for the mother of one of the Laotian Hmong students who came to study the Bible at the Bible Training Center in Chiang Khong. Khai had studied the Bible and went back to his country. Recently a generous gift was given to provide for her surgery. Here is the story of Pastor Somboon’s trip to give Khai’s family the money:

I went to Laos last week and gave the money to Khai’s mother for her operation. Their village is Luang Prabang Province, which is in the northern part of Laos. It’s the rainy season and travelling is very difficult. I didn’t get to Luang Prabang. When I told them that I couldn’t make it to Luang Prabang, they said they would like to go to Vientiene as the hospitals and doctors are better there. When I got to Vientiene, they called me and said that they couldn’t make it there as there had been so much rain that it had washed out the roads and vehicles couldn’t get past. They ended up staying overnight half way between Luang Prabang and Vientiene. The next day another vehicle came by and they were able to get on that bus and get to Vientiene. While I was waiting for them to arrive in Vientiene, I called a Hmong pastor that I know there. I went together with him to pick up the family. When we met up with them, they said that their bag with all of their clothes, passport, medical documents, etc. had disappeared along the way as there were so many people travelling. We were all startled and didn’t know what to do. The pastor that I was with said “Let’s pray.” We prayed and then went back to look for the bag. When we got back to the place where we had met them, there was a person standing there holding their bag for them. It was a miracle! It’s not like that in Laos. When something disappears, it is GONE. We then hurried to the hospital. I didn’t go to the hospital, because when the hospital staff there see someone from outside of Laos, they will automatically give a higher price. So, the Hmong pastor I was with took them to the hospital. I gave the money not to Khai’s mother, but to the Hmong pastor to use for medical expenses. That way, we know that the money is being used for it’s intended purpose. There have been other incidents where money has been given to a sick person for medical expenses, and the money gets used for something else entirely. So, I gave the money to the Hmong pastor for safekeeping. But there was another miracle! At the hospital in Vientiene, she went in for an X-ray, and they said there is no cancer! I don’t know exactly what happened, but they said she just has a bad case of stomach ulcers. The doctor said to come back in 3 days for another check up, and when she went back, there was still no sign of the cancer! The doctor gave her medicine and told her to come back in another 3 days and see how she’s doing. It hasn’t been 3 days yet. But she’s had 2 different X-rays in Vientiene now and they both have come up negative for cancer. Please pray for her. She says she has a biting pain in her genital area, and she’s scared that is cancer, but we don’t know why she’s having that pain. We know there is nothing that man can do, but we know that with God all things are possible. The pictures I’m sending are of her.

Joe is the newest member of the Training Center team. He is now back at the training center assisting Pastor Somboon. Joe's Thai name is Jue Li and his Hmong name is Rwg Lis. He is the one of the first students who studied at the training center. After studying the Bible with us for one year, he went to Bible school to earn his bachelors degree. When he finished his four years of studying the Bible, he came back to help at the training center.

Answered Prayer

This past May, Somboon's father accepted Christ as his Savior. We have been praying for his father's salvation for a long time. As many of you know, his mother died a little over a year ago. Somboon's father has lived with him for several months. His father has been going to church with him. You can read his note below.

Pastors Wutichai and Leng are on the Hmong Committee for the foundation. They are very godly men who love the Lord.

Please pray for his village (some of you have been there) that the message of the Gospel will reach many of the non-believers there. God bless!

Hello Pastors and friends,

Thank you for praying for my father. Last night my father accepted the Lord! He has been a witchdoctor for over 40 years. There were many times that he had said that he wanted to become a Christian, but now he has finally accepted the Lord. 2 weeks ago he told me that he wanted to receive Christ as His Savior. Yesterday I invited Pastor Wutichai and Pastor NyiajLeng here to explain the gospel in greater detail to my father, and he prayed to receive Christ! When my mother first accepted the Lord, my father didn't like it at all. When my mother died, my father was more open to the gospel, and now he is saved also. Thank you again for your prayers! Please continue to pray for him that he will stand firm and steadfast in the faith. On June 2nd, we are going to return to my village and my father will burn the spirit altar in the house along with all of the spirit paraphernalia.

We were blessed beyond belief to see 12 people baptized Sunday, November 14th. All 12 people, along with Pastor Somboon are pictured above. It was a beautiful day at the Mekong River. The following girls from the girls house were baptized: Kung, Mone and Nee. The following boys at the boys house were baptized: Mai, Kowit, Tong, Wee, Nai and Wang. Nai and Wang are the sons of Hmong church leaders, but neither one of them were believers when they first came to live at the boys house this year. Praise God that they have accepted the Lord and have decided to follow Him in baptism. Tong and Wee had said they weren't sure if they were ready to be baptized, but at the last minute, both boys decided to get baptized. Wee practically ran into the water and gave Pastor Somboon a big hug after getting baptized. It was so precious to see! Mai, the cook for the boys house, and her daughter Pu were also baptized. Both of these women had accepted the Lord a few years ago, and have waited a long time to be baptized. Ran, a church member, was also baptized. He is growing in the Lord by leaps and bounds.

The previous Sunday, 7 people here at the foundation accpeted the Lord:

The girls include: Newt, Creme and Mone. This is Creme's first year here with us and we are excited about what God is doing in her life. Newt and Mone are sisters and this is the 2nd year they have been here. The boys include: Nai, Wang, Kowit and Joe.

Stress Reliever

We took the boys to a waterfall in Chiang Rai. Everyone had a lot of fun. It gave everyone a chance to relax and relieve the stress of studying and doing homework. Everyone got to change gears and get a change of environment for a while. It was also an opportunity to get to know each other better surrounded by the beautiful scenery that God created.

The trees that the students are planting here are Eucalyptus trees Teakwood trees. We are planting these trees for use in building houses and dorms for the students in the future. It rained the day we planted the trees, but everyone still had a great time planting the trees. No one complained about how tired they were because they knew they were planting the trees for the work of God in the future.

Through a donation of a believer in the United States, we were able to purchase 1,000 trees, that can later be used to make rubber items, as an investment for the future. If God's willing, we hope that one day the profits from the rubber trees can help the Hmong Developing Quality of Life Foundation so that we can continue our ministry in furthering God's Kingdom. Praises and Prayer Request: Former Witchdoctor and Family accepted Christ

Today, a Hmong Laotian came to the hospital here in Chiang Khong. The sick person is a witch doctor from a village close to the Laos/China border. The sick person has been demon possessed and the demons are making him sick. His children did the prescribed ceremonies and sacrificed many pigs and cows like the demons requested. But the witchdoctor didn’t get any better. The demons wanted even more sacrifices. The man almost died. He and members of his family decided to become Christians. Today I took Kia and the girls at the girls’ house to visit him and his family at the hospital here in Chiang Khong. They told me and the girls that they have no recourse left except to accept Jesus as their Savior! We prayed with them and they prayed to receive Christ! Five people, including the (former) witchdoctor accepted the Lord! Praise God! I would like to ask you to pray for the former witchdoctor, that God would heal him while he’s at the hospital. Pray also that they would stand firm and steadfast in their faith. The son of the sick man used to be a teacher in Laos and now he works for the Laotian government. When he decided to accept Christ, he will have to leave his work, all of it, because the government officials in the district where he lives don’t like Christians. Please pray for all of them.

Visit to Luang Prabang Province, Laos - March 24-27, 2010

These are photos of the brothers and sisters we visited in Laos March 24-27. We went to Luang Prabang Province. Travel was difficult because the village we went to was deep in the forest. The trail was very steep and the village was the last village on that road. It was actually the highest peak in Luang Prabang. But when we got there, we felt very คุ้ม because the Christians there love God and we really felt the presence of God there.

The village we went to was Khai’s village. Khai is a former Bible student at the Bible Training Center here in Chiang Khong. When he returned to his village after studying Bible, his grandparents were not believers. His grandfather was a witchdoctor in the village. Upon his return to the village, Khai stayed at his grandfather’s house, and slept close to a spirit altar. Every night Khai prayed that his grandfather would accept the Lord, but it looked like that was impossible because his grandfather was not interested in the gospel at all. After that, the spirit altar that was set up right in the middle of the house would fall over on the floor almost every night for no reason. Then Khai’s grandfather got very sick. He felt like someone or something was pinching his heart, making it very difficult to breathe. He was sick like this for many days. Khai’s grandfather then decided to accept Christ. At the exact moment that he prayed to receive Christ, he was healed instantly. Khai and his parents then burned the spirit altar and all spirit paraphernalia and the entire family has been well since then.
There are many demons in this village. Every day a demon spirit appears in the village and someone gets sick. After Khai and his family moved back to the village after Khai had finished studying Bible with us, Khai and his family prayed and battled with the demon spirits. Many non-believers in the village are recognizing that since they returned, the demon spirits don’t bother them nearly as much as they used to.

Khai is now married and his wife just gave birth about 2 months ago. And, there are many people in surrounding villages who want to accept Christ. Khai and his father are receiving phone calls from people who want to accept the Lord, but due to travel difficulties are unable to come see them.
Please pray for me as well. I really want to help the Hmong in Laos. The villages are far, really far. Children from 4th grade up need to leave their house at 5 AM in order to get to school on time. In some villages, some children are walking up to 4 kilometers without shoes. Some of the children are also afraid to walk through the forest. Please pray for Khai and his family’s ministry there. Don’t pray for things to be better, more comfortable because when we are comfortable, we tend to not be on fire for God. But pray that God will protect and take care of those in Laos who belong to Him.

PISHON CHURCH

It has been 4 months since we started Pishon church. Each of us here at the foundation has a part in serving God at church. Many of the students come from families that are not believers. Those that do come from Christian families come here with the understanding that a church is the sole responsibility of one person – a pastor. The idea that the body of Christ is made up of many members, all with spiritual gifts, who are to serve God by serving each other is a foreign concept to many Hmong people here in Thailand. Therefore, from the first Sunday, we have given everyone an opportunity to take part in the church. Some serve by singing in the choir, while others serve as greeters. Some play drums and guitar while others are responsible for collecting the offering. Everyone helps clean. We want Pishon Church to be a light in the darkness. We want to see God raise up mature believers in Christ. Susan has been teaching English as an outreach of the church in an effort to expose many Thai Buddhists to what a church is. Otherwise, many would never be willing to attend. She has had many opportunities to share about the One True God who created the world and who loves us with an everlasting love. Pastor Somboon is giving private guitar lessons as an outreach of the church as well. We are also doing a lot of teaching about one-on-one sharing and evangelizing with friends, family and co-workers. We want God to bring people who are hurting and who are in need that we can minister to. Please pray for this new church plant.

TEACHING A CHILDREN CLUB IN A HMONG VILLAGE

The 7 girls who live at the girls’ house have been doing a children’s club at Baan Muankan, a Hmong village about 30 minutes from Chiang Khong. They go twice a month on Sunday afternoons. They have been doing this for almost 2 years. They sing worship songs, teach a Bible story, color a picture, teach a memory verse and play games. There are about 20 children that come on a regular basis, but there are always more children who come sporadically on any given Sunday. The children are divided up into 2 groups and each of girls at the hostel has a responsibility to prepare lessons, teach a song, lead games, etc. At first, some of the girls at the hostel were very shy and refused to do much of anything, but after a few months, they looked forward to spending time with the children. When the club time is over, many of the children refuse to go home and climb into the truck, not wanting Phee (older siblings) to leave.
At the same time that the girls are teaching the children, Kia, a staff member, goes to a Christian woman’s house in the same village and spends time encouraging her and a few other Christian women from the Word. This is a special time for these women as there is no church in this village and any Christian teaching/encouragement is few and far between. These few women are God’s light and they are sharing God’s love with those around them. Please pray for them as their lives aren’t easy. Pawn, one Christian woman, said she wants to be in a place where people don’t like her and where living a Christian life is difficult so that she can be salt and light to those around her. Please pray for her and the other Christian women in this village.

Thank you for all your pryrs and support. I was blessed to be a part of the team that went to China this past summer and would like to share Father’s work in China with you all. Even though the ministry that I’m involved is here in Thailand, for a long time now, I’ve pryed for Father to open doors for me to go to the surrounding closed countries such as Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, and China. Praise the Lrd, this year, Father has given me that opportunity. Our team, which made up of people from the United States, China, and Thailand, was there for about two weeks from July 15th - August 2nd, 2009. It was a very humbling experience. We visited a lot of poor Hmong villages. Some of the Hmong villages have no water supply. They either depend totally on the rain as their main source or get their water from man-made ponds for cooking, drinking, washing, and feeding the animals. Some Hmong houses are made from red dirt because it was free. However, more than the physical poverty is the spiritual darkness they are living in. Almost all of the Hmong we met had either never heard of our Father or even knew who Father's Son JC is. While we were there, one young man accepted Father's Son JC and another went to church with us for the first time. Praise the Lrd! Even in the short time that we were there, Father has allowed us to see His hand at work. There are so much work to be done and very few workers. If Father wills, I would like to go back in the future to encourage them through His words. Pry with me for the Hmong people in China as well as those in Thailand that they will come to know our Lrd JC.

Praise God for the worship time we had Sunday (yesterday) morning. God blessed all of us and touched some of the students' hearts as well. Eight students accepted Jesus into their lives! We believe there was great joy yesterday in heaven as the students prayed to receive Jesus. May God bless all of you who have had a part in praying for us here and in supporting us. Hello,

Praise God for the students that God has brought to us this year. There are some students from broken families and from families that have problems. (Some students come from families whose father sells drugs, and one girl's father is currently in jail for selling drugs and her mother wants her to get married now.) Some are from families that aren't Christians, while others are from Christian families. There are Hmong in Thailand who give lip service to being Christian, but don't understand what it means to be a Christian. They aren't really Christians. When they accept Christ into their hearts, they don't necessarily want Jesus, they just want freedom from sacrificing to the spirits. Please pray for the students that are living here with us this year. It's not easy. We need to rely on God's wisdom, love and patience in order to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Right now, the weather is changing and many students are sick. They are: Chai, Pu, Tong, Mai, and Kowit. Please pray for these students.

As for the girls, they are all doing well. Please pray for God's protection over them. Many Hmong girls in Thailand get married very quickly, about 12-15 years of age. This is too fast. They get married, and then have marriage problems and that leads to more broken families. Pray that the students here would put God as number one in their lives and that they would see the importance of an education in their lives. The reason that I am saying this is that last year one of the female students here left to get married. She was very young.

Raising Pigs: April 10, 2009

Hello,

This year, I have a plan to start raising pigs. We have bought 5 pigs. Last night it rained really hard here. One of the pigs died in the rain last night. Maib has already cooked the pig for us to eat. These pigs are not regular domesticated pigs, but they're wild pigs. They're different in that domesicated pigs are physically not as strong. Pork from domesticated pigs is cheaper. Wild pigs are not as easy to raise as domesticated pigs because you can't really teach them anything. Wild pigs are also smaller, but there is more meat on them, and the meat is more expensive. But the wild pigs that we're raising right now we're not planning on selling or anything, this is just a tryout, a test if you will, to see how it goes. We don't have a place to keep the pigs and the area where we're keeping the pigs right now isn't very big. These pictures are of the pigs and a few of the children that are going to be living with us this year. It's now Songkran here.

I'm not sure if you remember or not - there was a fire at Pong's house a few months back. He was a student here at the training center this last year. They received help from the government and others and now they have a more beautiful house than they had before.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for him. Pha, thank you for the money that you sent. Today, I went to his house and visited his mother and gave them the money that Pha sent. His mother was very happy and said thank you very much for the money and for praying for them. Pong's mother said thank you to the entire Hmong youth team that went to visit them when you guys were here. They were very happy that you visited and they miss you. These pictures are of Pong's new house. Some of the Bible students helped build the house. Pong's mother really likes this house.

Hello servants of God,
This last Sunday we had a graduation ceremony as well as a closing ceremony for the Bible training center. There were about 60 people who came to congratulate the Bible students. I am sending you these pictures of the ceremony.

We have trained 5 groups of students with God leading us. All you have had a part in helping us train and build up these students. Please continue to pray for these students as they go out they may bear fruit. Praise God for last few years that we have had the Bible training center as it has been a blessing to Hmong churches. Even though the training center is closing and we feel sad, but we believe that God has a good plan for the future for Hmong people.

Thank you to each of you for your financial and prayer support. May God bless you, your family, and your ministry, and may God give you the strength to continue to fight the good fight of faith during this time that the economy is bad. This year we have a plan to open a hostel for very poor Hmong children and/or orphans. We want to make disciples of Jesus from these children. Please pray for us. Please pray that God would lead us to the children that He wants to bring here. Please pray also for the necesary money that we will need.Jesus is our hope, our life.

May God give you hope and may you have a full life in the Spirit through Jesus Christ our Lord. The troubles that we have in this life make us grow up spiritually. Depend on God with all of your heart. God bless you.

30 People Came to Know the Lord - January 23, 2009

Today Pastor Suria took the Bible students to help build his house in Chiang Rai. There is one Bible student, a staff member and all of the girls who live with Susan that are still here. God had work for us to do for the kingdom of God. Praise God! Tonight I have a lot of joy in Jesus because the angels in heaven are rejoicing with us!

We just led about 30 people to Christ in a Hmong village. There were 3 large families. They took down the spirit altars that were in their houses and burned the spirit paraphenalia. A witch doctor was among those who got saved and he burned one of the biggest spirit altars that I have ever seen. He was happy and joyful that he escaped the wrath of the spirits. The village chief in this village is the father of one of the female Bible students who is studying Bible with us right now. He is also a church leader. He told us that these 3 families were totally against God and Christianity. But now, praise God, God has softened their hearts and now 3 families have accepted Christ. There was one other family that wants to accept Christ, but they weren't home tonight when we went. I think that very soon they will accept the Lord. One of the 3 families have a son who is currently living in a Buddhist temple. Please pray for him to come to know the Lord as well.

This is the good news that I want to share with you tonight and I pray it will encourage you to stay strong in the Lord. They want us to go pray with them for the next 3 nights in a row. The health of the former witch doctor isn't very good. Please pray that God will do some miracles in his life. At first, I thought I would go back to Chiang Mai tomorrow, but now I think that I will stay here. Please pray for this. God bless you.

BACKGROUND AND REASONS:
Hmong Developing Quality of Life Foundation is a foundation established for the purpose of helping Hmong hill tribe children. Hmong people live in northern Thailand. For the most part, they live high up in the mountains. Some Hmong villages have schools and some villages do not. However, the schools in Hmong villages are not very good quality schools because there are not enough teachers and the teachers who are there do not pay much attention to the children. Even though children graduate from 6th grade, many of them are still unable to read and write at a 6th grade level. Also, many of these children are deceived into taking part in illegal activities. Teenage sex is also rampant. Because of these issues, we bring orphans and very poor children to live with us in order to build them up in Christ and give them opportunities to study.
Presently, the foundation has no fields on which we can plant rice in order to feed the children we’re taking care of. We are looking at the future and we would like to own fields of our own so that we can plant rice in order to be self sufficient and help keep costs down. It’s very expensive to buy rice to feed the children we take care of, and the price of rice just keeps going up and up. We would therefore, like to ask churches and individuals who have a heart and a burden to help Hmong children to have a part in serving God in this way.

PURPOSE
1. To have fields that belong to the foundation in which to plant rice that will be able to support the children who live with us
2. To not have the necessity to buy rice and in turn keep costs down
3. To have a place of our own in which to do agricultural vocational training

BACKGROUND AND NECESITY:
Hmong Developing Quality of Life Foundation was established to help very poor Hmong children and to make their lives better. The goal of our foundation is to work with Hmong people along the northern border of Thailand and the surrounding countries where Hmong people live. The reason we are working along the border is because many Hmong people in that area don’t have Thai citizenship and many children don’t have the same opportunities for an education that other children have. Hmong people in general don’t have the same opportunities that others have. Our foundation was established to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help make the lives of Hmong people better. We have been doing this ministry for 5 years, but we don’t have land of our own to use in ministry. We don’t have land in which to build a ministry office or hostel/dormitories for children. We are currently renting and now the rental costs are rising, but the funds are decreasing. We would therefore like land of our own, land that belongs to the foundation. We believe this land will be of benefit to many Hmong people and will be used to further the kingdom of God. It is to be a place where the Name of Lord will be earnestly proclaimed.

PURPOSE:
1. To have a foundation center that will benefit all Hmong people
2. To have a children’s hostel, a Bible training center as well as other ministries
3. To have a place for teaching vocational skills and an agricultural center that will enable us to be independent.

The goal of our foundation is to work with Hmong people along the northern border of Thailand and the surrounding countries where Hmong people live. We have been doing this ministry for the last 5 years and we have children that are living in the hostel run by the foundation. But we still don’t have a vehicle of our own that we can use in transporting the children to and from school and for use in the ministry. Every time that we take the children out somewhere or we go on outreaches to Hmong villages, we need to ask to borrow someone else’s car. It’s a very inconvenient way of doing ministry . We therefore have a great need of a vehicle to use in the ministry. Hmong people for the most part live high up in the mountains. A winding dirt road that can get partly washed out during the rainy season is the only way of accessing some villages. It’s therefore very important that we have a 4 wheel drive vehicle that we can use to reach our target group that live in hard to reach places. We are hoping that you will be able to help us meet this need.

PURPOSE:
1. To have a car for use in taking the children to and from school and for use in outreaches.
2. To have a car for use in the work/ministry of the foundation.
